being Mother's day the thought occurred to me that the first loving female authority figure a male comes across was mostly like his mother. they learn to be obedient to Her at an early age. there are other Females like teachers for example that come along in their developing years that reaffirm the practice of obeying a Woman.
i think on some level most males are afraid of femininity...starting with panties especially the details involved in enhancing it.
